Mel,

Mel,
Jane and I were so sorry to hear the sad news. Mike was a huge part of my school days in both work and sports. He and Coach Ringholz took me under their wings and helped me in countless ways. Our sincerest condolences to you and your entire family.

My heart still hurts and tears still flow easily when I think of the death of Mike. What a wonderful generous man. I ALWAYS felt blessed whenever I encountered him. His attention to others could never be outdone. My greatest hardship was being able to be at the calling hours or the funeral. Melodie, Chris, and all of Mike's family, I hold you in my prayers. God bless you all. Sr. Diane

Melody and family,
Mike was a wonderful person who was really a nice person whenever I was around him. He was my early basketball coach and my little league coach as well. Will always remember Mike fondly and miss him.
My condolences,

Mel.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Mike. When it came to calling games on the radio he was probably the guy I tried to emulate the most. He was just good. Remembering back to the original days of WSWR, I don't know if the station would have survived had it not been for the add money that Mike brought in from up around the Willard area with many Shelby businesses being rather negative at the time. I'll miss not seeing him at the games this winter.

Again my condolences.

To friends & family of Mike... Mike & I became business friends thru our jobs at local radio stations.. I always admired Mike for his loyalty to the local high school teams, & players, who's games he broadcast. I always enjoyed our time together at our area sports media football & basketball preview sessions.. I will always remember Mike as an outstanding professional broadcaster, and a good friend & colleague. My condolences to his family & all of his many listeners.. Sincerely, Davey Jones WQEL, Bucyrus

My sincere condolences go out to the entire Adelman family. I have fond memories of working with Mike on Monroeville Village Council and always thought he did an excellent job as a county commissioner. I will always cherish my copy of the column he wrote upon the death of my wife Beverly. Once again, my condolences to his family.

Melody,

Sending my condolences to you and your family. I would see Mike at the St. Joe's festival when I would come home to visit Monroeville. He always updated me on your family and how the children were doing. He was proud of his children's accomplishments. Mike was a great guy and always glad to see a fellow classmate. He will be missed by all in the class of '68.

Just want to offer my condolences to Melodie, Chris, and your entire family. It was a true pleasure to know Mike, and for as sad as I am to hear of his passing I can only imagine the hole in your hearts now. But I have faith that this family has plenty of good memories and funny stories to help fill it! Please know you're all in my thoughts at this very tough time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing...enjoyed working with him at WSWR radio in Shelby from 1981 to 1987..what a great guy, family man, and super, on-air play by play announcer---most excited I ever heard or saw him was when the Monroeville Eagles won the State High School Basketball championship in the mid 80's...Mike will be sadly missed by all who knew him.....
