Thank you to Don and his staff for providing helpful advise and excellent service in the planning my fathers funeral six years ago, and most recently my mothers funeral.

Our service was all pre arranged. When Mom passed away I contact Don, he took care of the entire process. Words cannot express how thankful we are that you are in Sandusky! Everything was perfect and it helped me to know the service was being coordinated by such caring people..

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is very hard. The Pfeil's were incredibly compassionate during our grieving in the first few days after Dad's death. Their kindness, helpfulness, patience with our changes and overall attention to details could not have been exceeded. They even went beyond our expectations by having military personnel at the cemetery for the folding of the flag.

Our father passed away in July. He left specific instructions that upon his death, we must contact Pfeil funeral home, and now we know why.
Don and Iva were such a strong support system at a difficult time, especially since all of the siblings came from out of town. They patiently guided us through all of the necessary steps and took care of much of required paperwork.
After the funeral we received pictures of all of the flowers and gifts with notations about who sent what. That made writing thank you notes so much simpler! The computer picture presentation that Iva created was much enjoyed by the family. They have a good interactive website. These are just a few of the many helpful things they provided for us.

We would like to thank Don & Iva for their support and guiding us through a difficult time in arranging things for our mother's funeral (Jean Jones). We can't thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism they gave our family, not to mention mom looked wonderful! We feel they went above and beyond their call of duty.

We personally want to thank Don and Iva Pfeil for everything that they did for us to celebrate the life of our little son. This was the hardest moments of our lives, but personal touches, caring assistance, and lots of extra work from Don and Iva allowed us to have a special day with our family and friends. My mother, Frances, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness almost 9 years ago. She had a horrific week in the hospital and endured much trauma with 2 major surgeries. At the end she did not look like herself. The day of visitation, my mother looked beautiful, natural, and 10 years younger. You could almost see a little smile on her face. I had given Don a picture and said, "This is what mom really looks like", and he did it!! Twenty-two months later, my father, Harold, passed away, totally unexpected. I did not hesitate in calling Don again. Words cannot describe how caring, compassionate, understanding, patient, and helpful they were through the whole arrangement process with both of my parents. Don and Iva helped me through the 2 most difficult times of my life and I will be forever grateful! I highly recommend their services to anyone. Don, Iva, and the whole staff, are truly wonderful to work with in every aspect!
