Gertrude was an aunt of mine. Harold's mother was a sister of my mother. I remember attending a Knittle reunion being held at Harold & Gertude's farm when I was in high school at Berlin Heights. I've kept the Knittle genealogy up to date for several years. I'd be glad to share what I have with family. Just contact me at my email address.

To the family of Gert Reer,
I am remembering your mother and all of you in my prayers!
Gert was a very dear person to me. She knew my parents and shared with me many things I didn't know about them. For me she was like, "Ancestry.com".
We shared many stories and laughs together. I will miss having conversations with her! She was a very faith-filled person!
God bless you all! Sister Marilyn

your mom was an angel to me. I loved seeing her sitting behind what seemed like a giant desk, always hugging me and being so sweet. she used to make sure all of the card board tubes from the exam table paper so that I could pretend they were pipes and bury them with my Tonka back hoe.

she was a lovely woman, and I am blessed to have known her. My sympathies in your time of loss.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to you all. My deepest sympathy. I cannot even begin to tell you all the happy memories I have of your mom. She was like my other grandmother. I'm so happy to have been able to visit a few years ago and have one last picture with her. What a wonderful lady, so full of love. I think of her, and you all, often, I will miss her.
