Ermalee and family,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your husband and father. I remember you speaking of him and always thought it was such an unusual name. I never met or seen him and he certainly was a very handsome man. I will be thinking of you during this difficult time. May the following verses bring you comfort in the days ahead.

What must it be to step on shore and find it—HEAVEN;
To take hold a hand and find it—GOD’S HAND;
To breathe a new air and find it—CELESTIAL AIR;
To feel invigorated, and find it—IMMORTALITY;
To sail from the care and turmoil of earth
To one unbroken calm;
To land there and find it—GLORY.

“Although it is difficult to look beyond the sorrow.
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow”.

With deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences I write to share a beautiful scriptural promise of comfort and hope.  Jeremiah 29:11 "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope."  This hope is the promise to see our dear loved ones who have past away again.  When God brings them back to life through a resurrection to reunite them with us forever again.  John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."  What a beautiful promise and how comforting to know that we can have the heartwarming hope that someday, in God’s new world, we will be reunited with loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.

Until that day soon may fond memories of your dear loved one bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these.  My heart and sympathies go out to you and your family.
