We always enjoyed running into Jay around town. He was funny and quick with a grin and warm welcome. He worked at Ford with Denny. He also enjoyed the woodcarving time spent with fellow retirees at the union hall. He always had more hobbies than time would allow. He was a gifted, talented man. He will be missed.

Jay was member of Grotto and was always fun to be. Convention and zone meeting we all tried to get him to run for Grand Capt of the Guard it was a fun time. He will be missed by The Grotto and their menbers

Dear Sally,
I was so sorry to see of your Dad's passing. I enjoyed meeting both your parents a few years back when they had the player piano fixed by me. I remember the crazy Perkins days and you in Mr. Miller's class 6th grade. Hope you are well.
Sincerely,
Robin Pratt

To the Moore family,

Jay and I worked at Ford back in the day and also were members of Singara Grotto. He was a good friend and although I haven't lived in Sandusky for 40 years we remained friends. When I would visit Sandusky, I would stop at Jolly Donut because I knew Jay would be there sitting in the corner booth solving all the world's problems. He was quite a character. I was surprised to learn of his passing because it was not that long ago that I sent him a birthday card. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family.
