Geraldine A. Meredith, 72, of Sandusky passed away Wednesday morning, November 30, 2016 in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.
She was born May 29, 1944 in Sandusky and was a 1962 graduate of Sandusky High School. Geraldine was employed at the Home Depot in Sandusky, retiring in 2014. Prior to this, she had worked at Hughes Network Systems, Germantown, Maryland. She had many cats that she adored over the years.
She is survived by one son, Tom (Jerri) Meredith of Whitesburg, Georgia; two daughters, Jackie (Jon) Shapiro of Rockville, Maryland and Chrissy (Brad) Sanders of Fairfield, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Dawson Sanders, Madeline Shapiro and Molly Shapiro; one brother, Tom (Despo) Neumeyer of Marietta, Georgia; two nephews, John Neumeyer and Josh (Lisa) Neumeyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Viola (Nath) Neumeyer.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 12:30 PM until time of Memorial Service at 1:30 PM at Old Calvary, 701 First Street, Sandusky. Rev. J. Dennis Henkle will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
