Thomas "Tom" Alan Purvis

Thomas “Tom” Alan Purvis, 90, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his residence. Expressions of love by family and friends were spoken to Tom before his transition to heaven after a long battle with kidney failure. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Sandusky. Tom’s life of 90 years had been blessed with health, productive employment with Stanlock (later Griffith Rubber Mills), and a loving marriage of 64 years to Delee (Warnock) Purvis. Tom contributed to the fun and education of his children: Kyle and wife Carla Purvis, Kenna and husband Randy Keller preceded in death, and Kent and wife Tricia Purvis; six grandchildren, Kyle Purvis II, Christiana (Keller) Franza, Rachael Purvis, Melena Purvis, Kenton Purvis, and Kerim Purvis.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Castalia Cemetery located at 407 Bardwell Rd, Castalia, OH 44824. Pastor Diane Bell will officiate.
