Steven Terry Walsh, 77, passed away on 5/22/2025 from metastatic bladder cancer. He was born in St. Louis on October 30th, 1947, a son of Lt. Col. James and Bernice Walsh. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother James Walsh, Jr. (Jim). He is survived by his daughter Amy Joy Walsh Slowik, his son Benjamin Clay Walsh, his grandchildren - Emily, Layne, and Everett, and his sisters - Donna Aberle, Samantha Walsh, and Lori Wheeler. Steven served as an electrical engineer in the US Navy aboard the USS Rathburne, and held a masters degree in Christian Education from Biola University. He met his first wife, Ann Adele Clayton, while working on his undergraduate degree at Cal State San Bernardino. He spent 30 years with Ann, fathering Amy and Benjamin. He taught them to appreciate the world around them with an open mind and heart. Steven established his own ministry, but for the majority of his life Steven worked as a landscaper and a local handyman. He brought great beauty and longevity to the projects he undertook. He impressed all he met with his keen wit, winning personality, and quirky sense of humor. He had a strong sense of romanticism and adventure that was occasionally held back by depression and bipolar disorder, but even while dealing with these He could always make a friend as quickly as he could exchange a few words. Later in life, Steven married Victoria Turner. They spent several years in peace, but as time wore on the two went their separate ways. He lived his later years in Sandusky, Ohio, where he enjoyed reading books and building models. He will be fondly remembered for being warm, courteous, curious, humble, intelligent, and kind.
