Sharon Lee (Meyers) Dresser

Sharon L. Dresser, 80, of Sandusky passed away Wednesday evening, September 1, 2021, in the Admiral’s Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Huron following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 21, 1941, in Sandusky and was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she had served as a Deacon. She was also involved with the church Altar Committee, Women’s Circle, and quilting group. Sharon was the Homecoming Queen at the Willows of Bellevue during her stay there. Her hobbies include cooking, quilting, and bowling.

She is survived by two sons, Scott (Debbie) Dresser and Steve (Michele) Dresser, both of Monroeville; one daughter, Shelley Dresser (Scott) Taylor of Norwalk; seven grandchildren, Wendy (Aaron) Kidd, Kenny Dresser, Haley (Brandon) Bumb, Hannah (Austin) Dresser, Dawson (Christee) Taylor, Katie (Allen) Dean, and Codey (Hannah) Taylor; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Judy (Dennis) Schmenk; one brother, Rich (Diane) Meyers, both of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Judy Meyers of St. Petersburgh, FL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Butch” Dresser in 2010; her parents, Grover and Charlotte (Kamann) Meyers; and one brother, Ron Meyers.

Friends may call from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Pastor Bill Schroeder will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
