Sally Jean Moore

Sally J. Moore, 70, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 3, 2020 at her residence.

She was born January 23, 1950 in Sandusky to the late Jay and Annabel (Zeek) Moore. She was a graduate of Perkins High School. Sally was a lifelong learner, graduating from Miami University in 1972 with a BA in Psychology and the University of Cincinnati in 1976 with a MA in Rehabilitation Counseling. She spent many years working as a counselor and rehabilitation consultant. Prior to retirement, she worked as a rehabilitation consultant for social security. Most recently, Sally was an author, counselor, and intuitive healer. She spent most of her life on a journey to know God/Unconditional Love, which lead to the creation of Project Joy. Sally loved and enjoyed her cats and dog.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly (Dan) LaPlante of Bowling Green; two granddaughters, Casandra and Rachel; two aunts, Patricia Gast and Harriett Beekman; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, Walter and Helen Moore; maternal grandparents, Edward and Emma Zeek.

Friends may call from noon until time of service at 1:00 pm Monday, August 10, 2020 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Cora Freeh will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
