SGT Robert Connally Obituary

Bob was born 5/22/1935 and passed away peacefully on 7/12/2020 in Sandusky Ohio at the Ohio Veterans home.

Bob joined the United States Marine Corps and served until 1956. He was recognized for his service, earning many medals including The Purple Heart during the Korean War.

After completing his service, he pursued his passion for stunt driving.  After working hard, he was invited to join the King Kovaz Auto Daredevils. He was then given the opportunity to make his lifetime dream come true and take over the Hurricane Hell Drivers. He had a long and successful career, including doing stunt shows with Evel Knievel.

He was preceded in death by his love Barbara Rodenbaugh, and his son Robert Connally. He is survived by his granddaughter, Angela Connally (Ricky) and great- granddaughter Hailey Hess.

Military services for the family will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in the Ohio Veterans Home.
