Robert “Tractor Bob” Reinhart, 77, of Bellevue passed away peacefully Friday December 25, 2020 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
He was born March 21, 1943. He was a graduate of Bellevue High School. Robert proudly enlisted in the Army and was honored to have served on the front lines in Communications. Robert was raised in Bellevue, Ohio during the depression and knew the value of work. He lived in Fremont, Ohio where he owned and operated Reinhart Sales and Services. Robert took great pride in always being able to help others. Robert’s most cherished moments were those spent with his family and grandchildren racing and having family get togethers. This is where he started a racing family of his own and supported his grandson in the racing community along with many others. Robert also enjoyed going to the tractor pulls in Bowling Green, Ohio, spending time at the local VFW, and the American Legion.
He is survived by two daughters: Kathryn Mills of California and Kimberly Koonce of Fremont, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, LeRoy Reinhart; and Shirley Koonce.
Due to COVID precautions, a memorial service for only the immediate family will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in the Giffin Chapel of the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky. Burial will be in the Ohio Veterans Home Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
