Raymond Button

Raymond took his final flight from life on Saturday January 29, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. 

Raymond known as grumpy to many was born July 19, 1940, in Burton Ohio to the late Melvin and Lillian Button. 

He was a 1959 graduate of Berkshire High School. After high school he served our great country in the Airforce from 1961 to 1965. He worked for Chardon rubber for a number of years. After that he worked for other plants in Geauga County before moving to Warren where he worked at Tractor Supply for years before retiring. 

He is survived by his 5 children Charles (Marie) of Florida, Felicia of Pennsylvania, James (Julie) of Ohio, Johanna (Cly) of North Carolina, Terry of Ohio. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren to carry on his memory. 

Besides being proceeded in death by his parents he also was proceeded in death by a brother Martin and his wife Christine and a son in law Mike Miller. 

We would like to thank the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky for their dedicated service to our hero’s especially our dad where he spent his final few years. 

Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private celebration of life later this summer.
