Ray D. Shinault

Ray D. Shinault, 58, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence.

He was born January 22, 1961 in Charleston County, South Carolina and live most of his life in the Crystal Rock area. Ray was a 1979 graduate of Margaretta High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and his hobbies included; fishing, boating, having good times with his friends, and most recently skydiving. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by two sons, Trevor (Gail Gates) Shinault of Norwalk and Danny (Brittany) Shinault of Raleigh, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Payton and Jane Shinault; one sister, Debbie (Ray) Neill of Sandusky; two brothers, Derrick Shinault of Huron and Vincent Shinault of Deltona, Florida, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Shinault and his mother, Mary (Galindo) Randall.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Tony Robinson of Fathers Heart Church will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
