Phyllis A. (Tyler) Kaple

Phyllis Ann Kaple, 79, of Willard passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, in The Willows at Willard.

She was born May 5, 1945, in Norwalk. Phyllis attended St. Joseph Elementary School in Monroeville and was a graduate of Monroeville High School. She received her LPN at Mercy School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio and was employed at Fisher-Titus Medical Center and Twilight Gardens Nursing Home prior to retirement. Phyllis was an avid reader and had a caring and giving spirit, with a great love for animals.

She is survived by her three children, Kevin (Christal) Kaple, Annette (Steve) Caldwell, and Geralyn (Steve) Kaple; five grandchildren, Clover, Andrew, Logan, Jeleina, and Dililah; three brothers, Charles (Mona) Tyler, George (Diane) Tyler, and James (Karen) Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Mildred G. (Weisenburger) Tyler, and her ex-husband, Gerald V. Kaple.

Friends may call from 11:30 am until the time of memorial service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Father Ronald A. Schock will officiate.
