Patricia Jean (Seckman) Powell

Patricia Jean (Seckman) Powell passed away in her home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. 

Patti lived a full life. She was a devoted mom and "mamaw" to her son Timothy and his children. She was never as excited as when she became a great grandma last summer to sweet Archie and meeting him at Christmas. She loved her career at US Tsubaki for many years, was very involved in the Junior Achievement program, and was the BIGGEST fan of Sandusky Streakball! A bigger fan did not exist. Even after she couldn't attend games in person, Patti always found a live stream to watch them and knew the stats and scores of every game. She kept in touch with dozens of players over the last few decades and they kept in touch with their beloved "Miss Patti". 

She is survived by her mom Florence Seckman, her son Timothy Powell (Alane) and her grandchildren Allen (Joslyn and Archie), Kayla (Erik), Westin, Quinn and Corbin, along with many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her father Everett Seckman, and her brothers Zeke Seckman, and Daniel Seckman.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday February 19th, 2025, at noon at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Sandusky, OH. Burial will occur during a private family service beforehand.
