Patricia Jean (Slanczka) Lynch, 69 of Norwalk passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born December 6, 1955, in Oberlin, Ohio and was a 1974 graduate of Western Reserve and EHOVE. She worked for Wal-Mart as a Meat Manager for many years and prior to that she was Seafood Manager at Cardinals, now Millers. She loved watching her gameshows and westerns. She was an avid bowler in her younger years, and she loved traveling to West Virginia, her mother’s home state, to visit family. She was most proud of her husband, children and grandchildren and loving them was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Lynch, Sr., of Norwalk, her son, John Lynch II (Christine) of Monroeville, her daughter, Amanda Lynch (Christopher) of Norwalk, her grandchildren, John III, Tayrn, Joseph (Savannah), Hannah, Kane, Evan, Kellen, Lena Lynch, Mercedes Moretz and her great grandson Lincoln, brothers Fred, Donald and Ronald Slanczka and Sister Mary Slanczka and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Louise Slanczka, maternal grandparents, Fred and Mamie Kennedy, parents, Frank and Mary Hope Slanczka, son Joseph Allen Lynch, brothers Nick, Bob and Russ Slanczka and sister Shirley Osborn.
The burial will be in the Wakeman Cemetery, Wakeman, Ohio at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huron County Humane Society, or to the family.
