Norman Lee Wilson, 93, of Sandusky passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 4, 2025, in the Admiral’s Pointe Nursing Home, Huron following a lengthy illness.
He was born on December 25, 1931, in Boone, North Carolina. Lee was employed for twenty-nine years at the former Lyman Boat Works, Sandusky, retiring in 1985.
He was a member and past Master of Science Lodge No. 50, F. & A. M., member of the Sandusky City Chapter No. 72, R. A. M., Sandusky City Council No. 26, R. & S. M., Erie Commandery No. 23, K. T., Singara Grotto, and the 32nd degree Mason, Valley of Toledo.
Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
He is survived by six sons, William (Patricia) Wilson, Sandusky, Robert (Joan) Wilson, Castalia, Michael (Jody) Wilson, Oak Harbor, Joe Wilson, Vickery, Gary Wilson, Sandusky, and Patrick (Ginny) Casey, Sandusky; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannine M. Wilson on January 6, 2025; his parents, Lester and Lottie (Hamby) Wilson; and eleven siblings.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until Masonic memorial service at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will follow with Mr. Bobby Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
