Monte Christopher Hibbard

Monte C. Hibbard, 51, of Berlin Heights died unexpectedly Friday, August 5, 2022, in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born February 22, 1971, in Sandusky and was a 1989 graduate of Edison High School. Monte was previously employed for fifteen years at BFI. Since then, he has farmed and worked construction. His hobbies included spending time with his family and doing yard work.

He is survived by one son, Tyler (Claudia) Hibbard of Norwalk; two grandchildren, Kamila, and Marcus Hibbard; his mother, Mary Ann Hibbard of Berlin Heights; siblings, Jane Hibbard, and Mark Hibbard, both of Berlin Heights.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Hibbard, and his father, Jennings Hibbard.

It was Monte’s wish to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
