Marilyn L. Taylor, 69, of Castalia passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky surrounded by her family.
She was born May 15, 1955, in Port Clinton, Ohio and was a 1973 graduate of Danbury High School.
Marilyn was employed at the former New Departure-Hyatt, Division of General Motors for thirty years, retiring as an inspector. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, and for many years she loved water skiing, snow skiing, and spending time at the beach.
She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Charles W. Taylor; one son, Chad (Clarissa) Taylor of Centerville, Ohio; one granddaughter, Kyla Taylor; one brother, Joseph Batcha of Lorain; one sister, Elaine Roth of Marblehead; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lena (Richick) Batcha, and one brother, David Batcha.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Prashanth Kumar will officiate. The burial will be held in the Castalia Cemetery.
