Marilyn Joy Beal, 92, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on September 19, 1932, in Medina, Ohio and was a graduate of Wellington High School. She attended Kent State University following graduation. Marilyn was employed for many years as an office clerk at the Collins Elevator and as a cashier at the former Vanson’s Restaurant. Marilyn had a passion for reading.
She is survived by two children, Jennifer Beal of Monroeville, and Jeffrey (Cynthia) Beal of Shelby; four grandchildren, Brian (Annie) Dellinger, Amy (Keith) Zimmerman, Samantha Hunt, and Haley Gregory; eleven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Bement, Harriet (Bill) Bement, and Kay Cleavenger; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Dellinger in 2024; her father Dannie Steffens; her mother and stepfather, Verna (Perkins) and Milo Myers; and one sister, Joyce Dennison.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville, Ohio.
