Marcia Jo (Kelly) O'Neil

Marcia Jo O’Neil, 73, of Bellevue passed away peacefully and was reunited with her heavenly father on Monday, December 16, 2024.

She was born February 7, 1951, to Edna Mae Rice Salyers and John Kelly.

Marcia loved working with people, which is why she enjoyed bartending. She was once the owner of Marcia’s Downtown Lounge in Bellevue, where she made many friends. She was also an avid Bingo and lottery fan. Her favorite pastime was binge watching her classic movies.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Sochko and Yanuario “Tito” (Tricia) Sosa; her daughter, Marsha (Dan) Hoffman; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Vicky) Kelly, Mike (Bobbie) Salyers, Kenny (Alys) Salyers; and Bobby Salyers; sister, Linda Hamons; Uncle Paul Rice; Aunt Peggy Czeczeli; and her best friend, Loretta Akers.

In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by her loving husband, John P. O’Neil, and her “Dad” Herschel Salyers.

At her request, the family will be having a private service and a celebration of life luncheon at a later date.
