Loraine Arnold Obituary

Loraine M. Arnold, 84, of Port Clinton passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2020 in the Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton.

She was born May 28, 1935 in Fostoria, Ohio. She was a former member of Women of the Moose, Bay View, Ohio. Loraine enjoyed her life in Florida and was employed as a cashier in Leesburg, FL for many years. She loved anything related to the “Boy in the Boot” and her favorite song was “Proud to be an American” by Lee Greenwood.

She is survived by three children, Karrie (Gary) Chrastina of Butler, OH, Chuck Gibson of Sandusky, and Julie (Charles) Hurt of Port Clinton; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles (Mary) Billiard of Bellevue, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arnold; one daughter, Cindy Snyder; and her parents Harry and Mildred (Myers) Billiard.

A private family gathering will take place from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 2131 Park Avenue W., Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
