LaDonna J. Christman, 90, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, in The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born May 18, 1935, in Monroeville and was a 1953 graduate of Monroeville High School. LaDonna was employed for thirty-two years by the Village of Monroeville as their treasurer and as the Village Clerk. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she had sung in the choir.
Her hobbies included going to casinos and playing the slots, watching and supporting the Cleveland sports teams and OSU football, but her most cherished moments were the times spent attending her children and grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her five children, Timothy R. (Robin) Christman of Oregon, Ohio, Kim A. Christman of Monroeville, James D. (Robin) Christman of Norwalk, Cynthia (Glenn) Wrap of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Steven M. (Melissa) Christman of Sandusky; twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Christman in 2023; her parents, Clayton and Gladys (Miller) Boehler; and one brother, Vernon Boehler.
Friends may call from 9:00 am until time of funeral mass at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund, 79 Chapel Street, Monroeville, Ohio 44847.
