Kenneth “Ken” Honigford, 69, of Monroeville passed away Friday morning, September 12, 2025.
Ken was born on December 22, 1955, to Richard and Dolores Honigford. He graduated from Delphos St. John High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. He went on to earn his mechanical engineering degree and a master’s degree in business. Ken also earned his private pilot’s license and took pride in building a hot rod from scratch. He enjoyed cooking and raising koi fish. After retiring from manufacturing engineering for various medical companies in Norwalk, Cleveland, and Ann Arbor, Ken enjoyed working for St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery and as a welding instructor at EHOVE for as long as his health allowed.
Ken is survived by his wife, Jami, beloved adult children Alex Honigford, Lindsay Honigford, Paul Scott and his wife Jasmine Dietiker, and Max Honigford; his grandchildren, two sisters, Barb Ebbeskotte and Carol Ricker; and sister-in-law, Sue Honigford. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steve Honigford; brother-in-law, Louis Ebbeskotte; and nephew, Jason Ebbeskotte.
A funeral mass for Ken will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroeville. Following mass there will be an outdoor lunch at Ken and Jami’s home where friends and family are encouraged to see some of the many projects Ken enjoyed over the years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club in your area or to the donor’s favorite charity.
