Joyce D. (Baker) Mowry

Joyce D. Mowry, 85, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, August 1, 2025, in The Willows at Bellevue.

She was born August 8, 1939, in Bellevue and attended Margaretta Local Schools.

Joyce retired from Wollin Products, Inc. in Clyde, and prior to this worked many years at the Fanny Farmer Candy Company, where she made many friends.

Her hobbies included bingo, visiting casinos, crafts, and playing cards.

She is survived by four children, Jody (Greg) Brooks of Monroeville, Margaret (Doug) Hardy, Donald (Sue) Mowry, Jr., and Danny (Joann) Mowry, all of Norwalk; ten grandchildren, Christopher Grover, Jason Starkey, David Starkey, Tara Zimmerman, Megan Gibson, Billy Marett, Donald Mowry, III, Kayle Mowry, Amanda Mowry, and Kyle Mowry; numerous great grandchildren, her twin sister, Janice Mavros; sister, Doris Homegardner; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and son in law, Cynthia and Ron Grover; former husband, Donald Mowry, Sr.; one grandson, Brent Marett; one granddaughter, Kadi Bergstedt; her parents, Carl and Clara (Ellis) Baker; and siblings, William Baker, Thomas Baker, and Rita Payne.

Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 7, 2025, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Deacon Mike Wasiniak will officiate.
