Joy Seth Hurd, III

Joy Seth Hurd III, 74, of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on May 2, 2022. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and he was an avid fisherman. Born on August 6, 1947, to Thomas Charles and Elizabeth J. Hurd (neé Torian), the oldest of their ten children. Survived by sisters Kathy, Shelly, Diane, Marybeth, Joanne, and Denise and brothers Tom, Michael, and Danny. Father of Kristin (Lisa) Hurd, Kate (Jeff) Gorski, Kelly (Justin) Bonanni, and Joy (Emily) Hurd IV. Nine grandchildren: Hayley, Ben, Ella, Jack, Belle, Olivia, Grayson, Eleanor, and Owen. Family memorial to be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
