Janet Irene (Conley) Knerr

Janet I. Knerr, 74, of Bay View passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.

She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to William and Carrie (Childers) Conley on July 4, 1944. Janet was a graduate of Margaretta High School. She spent her life as a homemaker enjoying her family, her dog Baxter, and doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her son, Jim Knerr, Jr.; grandchildren, Jimmy and Kaylee Knerr of Michigan; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Freda Lawrence.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Private burial will take place later in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
