Jane A. (Berkey) Jaggers

Jane A. Jaggers, 99, of Sandusky passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, August 5, 2024, surrounded by her family in the Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky.

She was born September 29, 1924, in Du Bois, PA and had lived in the Sandusky area most of her life. Jane was employed as a cook at the former Erie County Care Facility until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King books. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Patricia Rowe of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Brian, Brandy, Bret, Tara, Joel, and Keith; eighteen great grandchildren, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Jaggers; three sons, Conrad Rowe, Delbert Rowe, and Barry Rowe; one daughter, Sherry Jefferson; two grandsons, Kenny Rowe and Gordon Rowe.

Funeral Services for Jane will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, August 9, 2024, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Andrea Mericle will officiate. The burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
