James “Jim” E. Weaver, 86, of Monroeville passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 of a brief illness.
Jim graduated from New London High School and entered the United States Army in 1953. After his time in the military, he drove truck for a few years before taking a job at Norwalk Furniture where he retired after twenty plus years. He then went on to be a correctional officer at the Huron County Sheriff’s Department when he retired in 1999. He enjoyed playing volleyball and participated in bowling and golf leagues. He also loved playing his keyboard at various events.
Jim is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Jeannie Weaver; his children, Kyle (Andrea) Morrow and Melissa (Jason) Baker; grandchildren, Kendall and Kaylee Morrow, Ty Baker, and Emma Asbury; great grandchildren, Ezra Corbin and Blair Enderby; and other special family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vic and Thelma Weaver; and grandson Nathaniel E Enderby in August of 2019.
It was Jim’s request to have no services.
