Jacoby "Jake" J. Walton

Jacoby J. “Jake” Walton, 23, of Piqua, Ohio and formerly of Sandusky passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.

He was born January 31, 1997 in Norwalk, Ohio to Christopher and Angela (Scally) Walton. Jake was a 2015 graduate of Perkins High School, where he played baseball. Jake received his HVAC certification from Terra Tech. After graduation he moved to the Sidney/Piqua area and worked in the lab for Emerson Climate Technology in Sidney, Ohio for 4 1/2 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Jake enjoyed traveling and was looking forward to being a father.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of one year, Jamie (Voight) Walton; his unborn son; his parents, two brothers, Thane (Brianna) Walton and Luke Walton; father and mother-in-law, John and Deborah Voight; paternal grandmother, Judy Walton; maternal grandmother, Joanne Scally; maternal grandfather, James Scalia, Jr.; grandparent in laws, Joe and Kareen Voight, David and Roberta Wilkins; Godparents, Christian Walton and Teresa Scally; his beloved dogs, Harlee and Beau; and many loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lloyd Walton in 2011.

Private family services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020. For those wishing to view the service, it will be available on Jake’s web page at pfeilfuneralhome.com on Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020. There will be a celebration of Jake’s life next summer for all family and friends.
