Hillard James Singer

Hillard J. Singer, 98, of Norwalk passed away Sunday morning, November 17, 2019 at his residence.

Hillard was born January 11, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, serving in Europe.  Prior to his retirement, Hillard was employed for 30 years at the Ford Motor Company.

He is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Robert) Frey of McCormick, S.C.; two sons, James (Sharon) Singer of Huron and David (Cynthia) Singer of Norwalk; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by is wife, Elizabeth H. (Cox) Singer in 2008; his parents, one sister, and one brother.

Private family services will be held.
