Gerald D. "Jerry" Zureich

Gerald D. “Jerry” Zureich, 74, of Sandusky passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born November 26, 1950, in Sandusky and attended the Betty Rinderle School. Jerry was a former employee of Cedar Point and retired from Goodwill Industries. He previously attended the former St. Paul Lutheran Church.

He is survived by one brother, Mike (Virginia) Zureich of Ripon, California; nieces, nephews, and other relatives; his guardian, Linda Vantine, Sandusky; and his caregivers from the Renaissance House, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Ruth (Farrand) Zureich; two sisters, Patricia Copeland and Mary Wilhelm; one brother, Joseph Zureich; and one stepbrother, Ronald Zureich.

Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the Oakland Cemetery Chapel, 2917 Milan Road, Sandusky. Chaplain Mike Zureich will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
