Gary L. Bath

Gary L Bath, 84, of Castalia passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026.  

He was born on January 5, 1942, and retired from the Ford Motor Company, Sandusky plant after thirty-six years.  He was a proud member of the UAW, American Legion, The Sandusky Orioles, and the Eagles Club. His life's pleasures were fishing, ice fishing, swimming in his backyard pool, and spending time with his grandson.  

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years Dianne J. Bath (Fox) of Castalia; his daughter, Allison and son-in-law, Cory; his grandson, Benjamin Burroughs; his "other" son, Todd (Yvonne) Taylor; and his sister, Sharon Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Ivadell and Clair McCreery; his father, Sydeny Bath; his mother and father-in-law, Lois and Frank (Pete) Fox, Sr.; and his identical twin brother, Larry L Bath.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Margaretta Township Fire Department, 113 South Ave., Castalia, Ohio 44824, or to the donor's favorite charity.
