Felecia M. (Bauer) Stang

Felecia M. Stang, 90, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023.

She was born on September 15, 1932, the youngest of eight children with a twenty-year span between her and her oldest sibling. Her parents William and Gertrude Bauer relocated their family from Nebraska to Ohio when she was a young child.

She worked at the Bell Dairy and Fair Publishing in Norwalk and after marrying her husband, William “Bill” Stang in 1953, she took care of the business he started, Bill Stang Construction.

Her three girls, Sharon Miller, Joan (Russell) Smith, and Bonnie (Bret) Gfell; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren were what was most important in her life. She was always trying to keep up with who was doing what.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Sharon, her parents, and all of her siblings, Louise Trausch, Loretta White, Jerry Bauer, Lucille Storck, Don Bauer, Lorrine Chapman, and Agnes Baker.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10:00 am in the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk. Fr. Ron Shock will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
