Erica Nicole (Meggitt) Stidham

Erica N. Stidham, 52, of Sandusky went to be with the Lord, passing away unexpectedly Sunday, January 9, 2022.

She was born January 21, 1969, in Sandusky and was a 1987 graduate of Edison High School. She attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin. Erica worked at the Mobil Gas Station in Huron for many years. She found the greatest joy in life’s most important things: her faith, family, and friends. Indeed, her proudest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother. Erica was always cheerful and brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. She was an animal lover, and enjoyed reading, watching the Cleveland Browns, and television and movies. 

She is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, John A. Stidham; one son, Caleb Stidham of Huron; stepdaughter, Jaclyn (Nik) Miller of Hamburg, NY; one stepson, John Stidham of Hamburg, NY; granddaughters, Amelia and Carolyn Miller; father, Richard Meggitt of Huron; brother, Brian Meggitt of Huron; two sisters, Monica Denslow and Rachel Smith, both of Huron; father-in-law, Donald Stidham of Sandusky; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley J. Meggitt; and mother-in-law, Ocie Jean Stidham.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2022, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. There will be a private family graveside service with Rev. Gene Paul officiating at a later time.
