Eric W. Heyman

Eric W. Heyman, 58, of Monroeville passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Toledo following a brief illness.

Eric was born July 15, 1966, in Willard, OH, the son of Sylvan and Maxine (Walter) Heyman. 

Eric was a 1984 graduate of Seneca East High School. He was a dedicated scout leader, a member of Roby Lodge No. 534, F. & A.M., Huron Chapter No. 7, R. A. M., Norwalk Council, No. 24, and Norwalk Commandry Lodge No. 18 K. T. where he had served as past commander. He was very active with the Attica Fair and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Monroeville.  He was employed with Lakeside Book Co. for thirty-eight years repairing books. Eric's family was very important to him, and he thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon (Snyder) Heyman; children, Steven (Amy) Heyman, Lizzie (Sean) Wurster; grandson, Warren Wurster; 2 brothers, Ronald (Cathy) Heyman, Doug (Tonya) Heyman; numerous extended families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Justin Heyman.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 4-7 PM, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville, with a Masonic Service following at 7:00 P.M. Friends may also all from 10:00 am Wednesday, June 25, 2025, until time of service at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 W. Broad St., Monroeville, Ohio 44847. Rev. Dan Pennington will officiate. Burial will follow in Attica Venice Cemetery, Attica, OH.
