Elwood Gene Meyers

Elwood Meyers, 91, formerly of Hershey, Pennsylvania and Tucson, Arizona, entered eternal rest and went to sleep in Jesus on February 21, 2026, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.

Born to the late, Pauline (Gates) and Otto Meyers, Elwood was a devoted father to Stanley Meyers (Cathy) of Manheim, Pennsylvania

He honorably served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. However, Elwood considered his greatest calling to be serving King Jesus. He read his Bible, shared the gospel with others, and lived his life as a witness to his faith.

He found joy in thrift shopping for hidden treasures and in music-especially singing and yodeling. Elwood was dearly loved and will be remembered with great affection.

No services will be held at this time.
