Elizabeth Holmes, 84, of Quincy, Illinois and formerly of Huron and Sandusky passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, in Quincy.
She was born May 5, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri and had lived in the Sandusky area most of her life. Over the years, Elizabeth had various jobs in the area, and co-owned the former Bell Chime Telephone Company with her late husband, Danny.
She is survived by two daughters, Deanna Harp and December Burns; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister, Diane Ainsworth; sister-in-law, Barbara Hamann; nieces, nephews, including Kenneth (Geralyn) Ainsworth) and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Danny L. Holmes in 2005; one daughter, Dawn Richards in 2021; and two brothers, Virgil Tolley and Eldon Tolley.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services.
