Edward J. Palmer, 74, of Sandusky passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026.
He was born on August 2, 1951, in Fremont and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was blessed to have lived his final years surrounded by other heroic veterans at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Palmer; four children, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, seven sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Palmer.
Friends and family are welcome to visit from 11:00 am until the time of his military service at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Ohio Veterans Home Secrest Auditorium, 3416 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Chaplain Randy Barlow will officiate. Burial will be in the Ohio Veterans Home Cemetery.
