Edward J. "Eddie" Oswald, III

Edward J. “Eddie” Oswald III, 74, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at his home.

He was born on September 20, 1950, in Sandusky and graduated from Sandusky High School. Eddie honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and later worked for 25 years as a cook at Bob Evans.

He enjoyed following the activities of his nieces and nephews and took pride in being part of their lives.

He is survived by his siblings, Paula (Tom) York, Candiss Kessler, and Kevin Oswald, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. Jr. and Cecilia (Naderer) Oswald; his sister, Susan Oswald in 2021; and his brother, Keith Oswald in 1980.

A private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Sandusky.
