Donald E. Smith, Jr.

Donald E. Smith, Jr., 62, of Monroeville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his residence.

Don was born February 25, 1957 in Norwalk and attended Monroeville Schools. He drove truck for the JR Schugel Trucking Line. Don’s hobbies included; fishing, model cars, watching western movies, learning about WWII history, and watching Cleveland Indians baseball.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Donald E. (Barb) Smith, Sr. of Monroeville; one sister, Donna (Ed) Kay of Monroeville; one step-sister, Cheryl; two step-brothers, Duane and Keith, two nieces, Crystal Smith and Lisa (David Blystone) Smith; two nephews, Bryan Kay and Joshua (Haleigh Collins) Kay; six great nieces, two great nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Olive Burlile.

Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville, Ohio 44847. Rev. Ann Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
