Dianna Kay (Watkins) Kuhlman

Dianna Kay (Watkins) Kuhlman, 72, originally from Monroeville, currently residing in Gastonia, North Carolina, was carried in the arms of the angels to peace on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at her home, with family there to support her after a courageous 4-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born July 7, 1952, to the late Max & Evalynn (Myers) Watkins.  Dee was a 1970 graduate of Monroeville High School.  She was employed with several companies over the years including West Baking and Boxboard Packaging in Norwalk, Carton Service in Shelby, MTD in Willard and she retired from Pepperidge Farms before moving to North Carolina in 2015.

Family and friends are left behind to cherish her memory.  Dee is survived by and was a proud mother to Bradley (Abby) Kuhlman of Piqua and Keri (Matt) Scholz of Alexis, North Carolina, loving grandmother to Tate, Emery, Zoey Kuhlman and Jack and Brice Scholz.  Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Missy (Wesley) Brewer of Huron, nephew, Mitchell (Kristeena Long) Brewer of Monroeville, niece, Kaitlynn (Christopher) Baum and Dana of Sandusky, bonus sister, Deb Andrews of Norwalk, her Labradoodle and special boy Rufus, one aunt and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her sister, Lorrie Watkins in August of 2020 and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dee was a great Cleveland Cavs fan and enjoyed the outdoors and reading.  She was the master of holiday gatherings, holiday decorations, and loved to cook for her family.  No one ever went hungry when at her house.  Dee loved supporting her kids and grandkids’ academic, athletic and extracurricular events.

At Dee’s request a private graveside service will be held at a later date. The burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville.
