Connie L. (Smith) Cole

Connie L. Cole, 69, of Fremont and formerly of Sandusky passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 2, 1951, in Bucyrus Ohio and was a 1970 graduate of Sandusky High School.

She owned the Karaoke with Connie for many years at the Kelley’s Island Caddie Shack as well as entertaining at many other locations. Her hobbies included bowling and golfing. She loved and adored her cats that she has raised over the years. 

She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Cole; three daughters, Victoria Cole of Fremont, Olivia LaFine of De Pere, Wisconsin, and Bridgette Swain of Sandusky; one son, Donovan Cole of Sandusky; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Linda (William) Ewers of Sandusky, Teresa (Don) Winkle of St. Mary’s, Ohio, and Lee Ellen (Jack) Dickman of Idaho; and her stepmother, Helen Smith of Sandusky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Smith; and her mother and stepfather, Carol and Jerry DeVol.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday, June 14, 2021 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky. Father Chris Jesudhason will officiate.
