Caroline M. Ackerman

Caroline M. Ackerman, 62, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 18, 2018 at her residence.

She was born July 7, 1955 in Sandusky to Edwin and Dorothy (Witt) Ackerman. Caroline was a 1973 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was employed at Firelands Regional Medical Center prior to her retirement. Caroline was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Sandusky.  Caroline loved her dogs.

She is survived by one brother, Gary (Diane) Ackerman; three nephews, six great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin E. in 2008 and Dorothy E. Ackerman in 2017.

Services for the family were held and burial was in the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
