Ann Schuyler Eves Spayth died Thursday evening, September 6, 2018,
in peaceful, hospice care with support from William (Marcy), her twin;
John (Sharon) Eves, her brother; Margot Eves, her niece; and an outpouring
of good wishes from extended family and long-time friends. Ann lived in Tiffin,
Ohio, near John the last 11 years of her life. She graduated Oakmont High School,
1963, and Edinboro State Teachers College, 1967. Ann taught for several years,
was a traveling representative for Gulf Oil, and subsequently married Benjamin
Spayth (deceased 2006) for 25 years. She remained devoted to her Christian faith
and her artistic efforts until the past year. She was by nature a solitary person
who chose to fight her battle with cancer privately until close to life end. Ann will
be interred at Verona Cemetery in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, at NOON, September 12.
There will be no visiting hours or scheduled services. Friends are welcome
to join the family for lunch in remembrance of her at 1:00 PM at Hoffstott’s
Café Monaco in Oakmont.
