Susan A. (Bing) Quick

Susan A. (Bing) Quick, 63, of Fremont and formerly of Perkins Township passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, early Tuesday morning, October 22, 2019 at her residence following a well fought battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born February 16, 1956 in Teramo, Italy and came to Sandusky at the age of two. Sue was employed as an Equine Therapist helping people with special needs. She loved being around horses and children. Several years ago, she was involved as a 4-H Advisor in both Erie and Sandusky County and gave horse riding lessons. Sue had a passion for all animals. Her hobbies included painting, photography, and playing the guitar.

She is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky, Our Lady of Malibu Church, Malibu, CA, and the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH International). For the past eight years Sue lived in Norco, CA and was a certified instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning at NDR Therapeutic Riding.

She is survived by two sons, Joshua (Any) Quick and Benjamin (Paula) Quick, both of Sandusky; two grandsons, Anthony and Ryan Quick; two sisters in law, Amy Casper of Huron and Judy Palino of Bradenton, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonny Quick in 2006; one son, Ryan D. Quick in 2014; and her parents, Alvin and Effie (Welch) Bing.

Friends may call from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue Sandusky. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2019 in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Jerry Chmiel will officiate.
