John Alfred Frantz

John A. Frantz, 76, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 27, 2018 in the Heritage Village of Clyde.

He was born on January 17, 1942 in Sandusky. John held various positions throughout his life including, security guard, taxi driver, and prior to his retirement he worked for Lombardi Music. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

He is survived by two sons, Mike (Diane) Frantz and Roscoe (Veronica) Frantz, both of Sandusky; two daughters, Vernetta (Joseph) Morrison and Linda (Chris) Dillery, both of Sandusky; thirteen grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Frantz, Jr. of Sandusky and Robert (Sharon) Frantz of Castalia; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rayma Frantz in 2009; his parents, Paul and Thelma (Richardson) Frantz, Sr.; one grandson, John A. Frantz, II; three sisters, Stella Frantz, Beverly Snyder, and Delores Brant.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Shoreline Park, 411 E. Shoreline Dr., Sandusky, Ohio 44870 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM on Friday, August 3, 2018.
