Jeanette Alice "Dunham" Neer

Jeanette A. Neer, 90, of Castalia passed away peacefully Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky.

She was born February 29, 1928 in Venice, Ohio and attended Sandusky City Schools. Jeanette married her husband, Adin “Jack” Neer on May 20, 1949. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky and her hobbies included going to garage sales and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry (Billie) Canter of Sandusky; three grandchildren, Sean (Mackenzie) Neer of San Diego, CA, Heather (Dominic) Cantu, and Chad (Amanda) King, both of Huron; four great grandchildren, Emma Neer, Adin Neer, Owen Cantu, and Jacob King; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Adin “Jack” Neer in 2006; one daughter, Frances King in 1974; her parents, Fred and Alma (Bluhm) Dunham; one sister, Kathryn McLaughlin; three brothers, Karl, Robert, and Ellsworth Dunham; and her step-mother, Minnie Dunham.

Friends may call Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Bill Wiswell will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
