Virginia A. (Oetzel) Krick

Virginia A. Krick, 79, of Monroeville passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, January 4, 2024, in the Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk following a brief illness.

She was born August 8, 1944, in Norwalk and was a 1962 graduate of Monroeville High School. Virginia worked as a GTE telephone operator in Norwalk and at RR Donnelley in Willard earlier in her life. She enjoyed doing business and finance, watching professional ballroom dancing and poetry.  Viewing vintage films and rating the acting, directing and production was another interest of Virginia’s.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Paul F. Krick; and one son, Eric Krick of Monroeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Dorothy (Haas) Oetzel.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
